Grand Open­ing of the Sim­ply Move Exhibition

Design is an essen­tial fac­tor for suc­cess in the mar­ket – with this state­ment, Hubert Aiwanger, Bavar­i­an State Min­is­ter of Eco­nom­ic Affairs, Region­al Devel­op­ment and Ener­gy, inau­gu­rat­ed the Sim­ply Move exhi­bi­tion on Jan­u­ary 15, 2019. In nine fas­ci­nat­ing projects relat­ing to trans­porta­tion, sports and health, vis­i­tors can learn about future mobil­i­ty. The exhibits have been con­tributed by design­ers and devel­op­ers from Bavaria. “Good design helps us under­stand new and often com­plex tech­nolo­gies. Sim­ply Move is an impres­sive dis­play of cor­po­rate inno­va­tion and design,” said Aiwanger.

Dr. Michael Kerk­loh, Pres­i­dent and CEO of Munich Air­port, is delight­ed with the exhi­bi­tion held at the airport’s Ter­mi­nal 2: “An air traf­fic hub such as Munich Air­port is the ide­al loca­tion for stag­ing this exhi­bi­tion because we work to facil­i­tate world­wide mobil­i­ty for thou­sands of trav­el­ers every day.”

Sim­ply Move will be shown until Feb­ru­ary 28, 2019 at Ter­mi­nal 2. It is the ini­tial event of a five-part series that will end in Feb­ru­ary 2020. The next exhi­bi­tion, which will be titled Dig­i­tal Nature. Bavaria designs – Lifestyles of the Future, will open in March 2019.
