MCBW FORUM 2019: Design connects!

The MCBW FORUM at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tele­vi­sion and Film Munich (HFF München) is the first touch­point for vis­i­tors to gath­er infor­ma­tion on the pro­grams of MCBW and our part­ners. Our Info­point staff will be hap­py to pro­vide you with infor­ma­tion and sug­ges­tions on the more than 200 events. Enjoy the inspir­ing atmos­phere of the lounge, share your MCBW impres­sions with oth­er design fans, and treat your palate at Can­ti­na Conviva.

Most impor­tant­ly, MCBW FORUM is a live­ly meet­ing point and an event loca­tion with a vari­ety of pro­grams for design afi­ciona­dos and experts, includ­ing MUCBOOK’s net­work event and Blog­ger Mar­ket, MCBW START UP and the Edi­to­r­i­al Design Con­fer­ence EDCH. The main ele­ments in the entrance area include the spe­cial exhi­bi­tion “Future Lights in Ceram­ics”, the MCBW Lounge by Steel­case, the MCBW Info­point, and dai­ly catering.

At this year’s DESIGN SCHAU!, you will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to expe­ri­ence design on the screen as well. For the first time MCBW presents the DESIGN CIN­E­MA: The movie audi­to­ri­ums at HFF München are ide­al venues for con­nect­ing you with design via film. Join us to see a piece on the his­to­ry of the porce­lain fac­to­ry in Selb, new works cre­at­ed by stu­dents, or our part­ners’ most recent films like the doc­u­men­taries RAMS – A FILM ABOUT DIETER RAMS BY GARY HUS­TWIT, as well as VOM BAUEN DER ZUKUN­FT – 100 JAHRE BAUHAUS, a homage to the Bauhaus move­ment, or the film KON­STAN­TIN GRCIC – DESIGN IS WORK.
