The ‘Open mind­ed to new visions’ exhi­bi­tion show­cas­es inno­v­a­tive forms of mobil­i­ty designed, devel­oped, and made expe­ri­ence­able by good design and new tech­nolo­gies with agili­ty, open-mind­ed­ness, and vision­ary vigor.

The first sec­tion presents design as a dis­ci­pline of the future and a cen­tral fac­tor in the suc­cess of the entire mobil­i­ty indus­try. With their holis­tic, user-focused mind­sets, tan­gi­ble, vision­ary work­styles, and open and solu­tion-ori­ent­ed approach­es, design­ers play an essen­tial role in the trans­for­ma­tion towards sus­tain­able mobil­i­ty. Insight into mobil­i­ty design process­es devel­oped by Bavaria-based com­pa­nies, agen­cies, and uni­ver­si­ties allows vis­i­tors to expe­ri­ence this unique way of think­ing and working.

The sec­ond sec­tion, a new trav­el­ing exhi­bi­tion on elec­tro­mo­bil­i­ty in Bavaria, show­cas­es com­pelling facts about nov­el forms of mobil­i­ty in the state and new mobil­i­ty con­cepts. The emo­bile Ger­man Alpine Road project is part of this trav­el­ing exhi­bi­tion. Breath­tak­ing moun­tain and lake vis­tas, renowned cul­tur­al mon­u­ments, and tra­di­tion­al vil­lage in a vari­ety of val­leys can be expe­ri­enced through e‑mobility.

The bay­ern design exhi­bi­tion ‘Open mind­ed to new visions’ in the Kaiser­hof of the Munich Res­i­dence at the IAA MOBIL­I­TY (7–12.09.21) takes place in coop­er­a­tion with Bay­ern Inno­v­a­tiv and the Ger­man Alpine Road and is spon­sored by the Bavar­i­an Min­istry of Eco­nom­ic Affairs, Region­al Devel­op­ment and Energy.

For the IAA Side Event “Sus­tain­able Mobil­i­ty Con­nects — The Future of Bavaria as an Auto­mo­tive Loca­tion”, the Bavar­i­an Min­istry of Eco­nom­ic Affairs invites you to an online event on Sep­tem­ber 10, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Bavaria’s Min­is­ter of Eco­nom­ic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, will dis­cuss the cur­rent chal­lenges and oppor­tu­ni­ties for the Bavar­i­an auto­mo­tive indus­try and Bavaria as a busi­ness loca­tion with high-rank­ing guests.
