Applications are still open until September 30 for the second New European Bauhaus Festival, which will take place in April 2024. The festival brings together people from all walks of life to discuss and shape our future. A future that is sustainable, inclusive and beautiful. The main activities will take place in Brussels, alongside events across the European Union and beyond.

In 2024, with the working title “Resources for All,” the festival will focus on exploring possible subthemes such as shelter and habitat, land and water, fashion, and human well-being in light of the changing environment. This integrative and human-centered approach is intended to inspire and encourage people to make sustainable choices and establish a deep connection to the New European Bauhaus Movement.

bayern design has been a partner organization of the New European Bauhaus since December 2021.

The festival includes four main pillars:

  • Forum — a platform for stimulating discussions and exchange of ideas around the New European Bauhaus.
  • Fair — a laboratory and exhibition that presents projects and prototypes inspired by and supporting the core values of the New European Bauhaus.
  • Festival — a celebration that combines culture, art and conviviality and serves as a moment of collective joy, honoring freedom of expression and welcoming radical, innovative and groundbreaking ideas and visions.
  • Satellite Events: Events and initiatives organized independently in Brussels and beyond, whose core activities are in line with the values of the New European Bauhaus.

Interested organizations and individuals can propose their own activities, projects or satellite events for one of the three calls to become a focal point of the festival. The fourth call is the call for media partners:inside.

All information about the festival and the calls for participation can be found on the festival page.
