The 31st Coburg Design Days will take place at the city’s historic freight depot. Presented by Coburger Designforum, from May 28 to June 2, 2019 the venue will be transformed into a stage of creation, innovation, and culture where awe-inspiring design can be experienced live.
The event’s series of exhibitions and hands-on workshops offer a unique ambiance where creative and innovative minds will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their ideas, along with their products, of course, to design enthusiasts.
This year, special focus will be on the 200th anniversary of the ideas and visions of Prince Albert, Coburg’s first patron of the economic sector. Visitors can enjoy installations and presentations centered on the Crystal Palace initiated by Prince Albert and can gain unique insight into the prince’s forward-thinking work.
Beyond premium products and innovations, the inspiration- and design-filled event will be topped off with culinary delicacies and live music presented at the Package Hall.
The complete program (lectures and workshops) can be found under “Coburg Designtage 2019 — Termine (PDF)”.
The Coburg Design Days are sponsored by bayern design and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Land Development and Energy.
