Coburg Design Days 2019

The 31^st Coburg Design Days will take place at the city’s his­toric freight depot. Pre­sent­ed by Coburg­er Design­fo­rum, from May 28 to June 2, 2019 the venue will be trans­formed into a stage of cre­ation, inno­va­tion, and cul­ture where awe-inspir­ing design can be expe­ri­enced live.

The event’s series of exhi­bi­tions and hands-on work­shops offer a unique ambiance where cre­ative and inno­v­a­tive minds will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to intro­duce them­selves and their ideas, along with their prod­ucts, of course, to design enthusiasts.

This year, spe­cial focus will be on the 200^th anniver­sary of the ideas and visions of Prince Albert, Coburg’s first patron of the eco­nom­ic sec­tor. Vis­i­tors can enjoy instal­la­tions and pre­sen­ta­tions cen­tered on the Crys­tal Palace ini­ti­at­ed by Prince Albert and can gain unique insight into the prince’s for­ward-think­ing work.

Beyond pre­mi­um prod­ucts and inno­va­tions, the inspi­ra­tion- and design-filled event will be topped off with culi­nary del­i­ca­cies and live music pre­sent­ed at the Pack­age Hall.
