Design­er in Lab 2023

The suc­cess­ful “Artist/Designer in Lab” pro­gram of the Fraun­hofer Sci­ence, Art and Design Net­work is enter­ing its fifth round. The call for appli­ca­tions is aimed at design pro­fes­sion­als from all dis­ci­plines who would like to enter into inter­dis­ci­pli­nary exchange and col­lab­o­ra­tion with researchers from the Fraun­hofer-Gesellschaft. An up-to-date overview of the network’s mem­ber insti­tutes can be found here.

Before apply­ing, inter­est­ed par­ties inde­pen­dent­ly iden­ti­fy and moti­vate their favorite insti­tute for their joint­ly planned project. Togeth­er with this insti­tute the tan­dem coop­er­a­tion will take place. For this pur­pose, the use of the Inter­net pages of the Fraun­hofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der ange­wandten Forschung e.V. and the review of the trade press is recommended.

The peri­od of the pro­gram is from March 2023 to Decem­ber 2023 and the appli­ca­tion dead­line is Decem­ber 15, 2022.
