Social Design Days

In 2023, we launched a new fes­ti­val: Social Design Days in Nurem­berg, which is three days of work­shops, inter­ac­tive events, and a sym­po­sium of high-cal­iber speak­ers. The fes­ti­val wel­comes every­one because a tenet of social design is that skills and tal­ents should be shared to over­come chal­lenges with­in soci­ety effi­cient­ly and effec­tive­ly and make the world a bet­ter place. Social Design Days in Nurem­berg is host­ed by bay­ern design in coop­er­a­tion with the Nurem­berg Cham­ber of Com­merce and Indus­try for Cen­tral Franconia.

One part of Social Design Days is Design Jam. At this inter­ac­tive work­shop, the chal­lenges to be dis­cussed for cross-inno­va­tion are deter­mined from respons­es to our open call. The work­shop address­es design­ers, pro­fes­sion­als, and every­one eager to get involved. Social Design Days in Nurem­berg takes place in autumn.
