Internationale Handwerksmesse (IHM), the leading trade fair for craft trades, and Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW) intend to extend their cooperation in 2018. At Design Spirit – Arbeitswelten und Produkte von morgen held at the Munich fairgrounds visitors will have the opportunity to experience fascinating innovations originating in the creative and design sectors, crafts, and in the field of manufacturing and work organization. Young labels now have the opportunity to apply for one of the coveted places in the exhibition.

Diverse industries will showcase exceptional, outstanding and unexpected models and products from the design industry and the crafts sector. The exhibiting companies invite visitors to marvel, test, discuss and shop. The event also is a great opportunity to establish contacts with customers and activate networks.
Design Spirit also will provide insight into current and future work environments with a focus on digitally controlled manufacturing. MakerSpace, a tool developed by UnternehmerTUM of Munich, uses state-of-the-art equipment to demonstrate the options available to craftspeople and designers today. In the FabLab, visitors can have a go at developing products and having them produced by a laser cutter or other machines. In addition, trailblazing solutions for office environments, meetings and workshops will illustrate the changes to work stations in the crafts sector.
