At Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven from October 17 to 25, 2015, bayern design will present young, innovative designers. The Cultural and Creative Center of the City of Munich will be a partner of the exhibition and will introduce itself in Eindhoven together with bayern design.
The largest design event in northern Europe will take place for the 14th time. For nine days, visitors can learn how the world of tomorrow takes shape and how smart solutions and innovative design offer new and promising perspectives.
Titled Creating Change | Transforming Cities & Society, focus of the exhibition presented by bayern design will be on the continuous change due to immigration to and emigration from cities and regions. The speed of change has intensified over the past few years.
Solving complex problems while achieving high economic dynamics increasingly requires innovations originating in the low-tech segment as well as social innovations. Creative industries and designing professions illustrate new technologies and make them understandable to users. Designers make complex issues tangible, creating humane products and, thus, inspiration and solutions for the challenges of modern life and economies. Creating Change | Transforming Cities & Society will be a showcase of groundbreaking initiatives, projects and products that support society’s transformation.
Plans include the following projects and designers: Markus Bischof, Ana Relvao, The Future of Meat (Anna and Madelaine Berlis), Coburg University and others.
The event will be sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology.
