Copyright, registered design or registered trademarks – there are several options to protect your design. In this presentation organized by bayern design, Dr. Marcus von Welser will explain strategies to apply for and assert property rights.
The presentation addresses designers and manufacturers.
Dr. Marcus von Welser
Attorney-at-law and specialist in commercial property rights Dr. Marcus von Welser advises and represents clients in all intellectual property matters including copyright and design, trademark and competition law and has many years of experience in contract design and court proceedings. His clients include companies in the automotive, electronics, furniture, garment, food and music industries as well as publishers, agencies, designers, architects and photographers.
Dr. von Welser is a lecturer for copyright and anti-piracy at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. He has authored several publications including a practical commentary on copyright and a manual on brand and product piracy. He studied law at Freie Universität Berlin, holds an LL.M. from the University of Warwick and completed his doctorate in copyright at Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel.
