From emojis to skyscrapers, from chairs to satellites – nearly everything we interact with today has been designed. What defines good design? What must design be able to achieve in the context of transformation in the environment and society or technological advancement? These are the questions explored in the exhibition “design connects. What design can achieve”.
Design has long since moved beyond shaping surfaces and forms. Today, it influences every aspect of our daily lives, how we live together, and how we interact with nature. Good design connects.
From inclusive mobility to participatory urban spaces, from renewable energy solutions to hospital environments that promote well-being, the exhibition examines the potential of design from numerous perspectives: Design fosters participation in a diverse society, provides orientation in an increasingly complex world, merges interests, and generates innovative solutions. Through insights, examples, and expert voices, the exhibition shows what design can achieve and how it works.
