We look for­ward to receiv­ing your appli­ca­tion to speak at our mcbw design sum­mit on May 12, 2025! The Sum­mit — one of the high­lights of mcbw — will focus on the annu­al theme “How to design a vibrant com­mu­ni­ty” in 2025.

Togeth­er we want to push bound­aries and ask what design can do for a vibrant com­mu­ni­ty. We see open­ness, curios­i­ty and col­lab­o­ra­tion as promis­ing answers to get clos­er to a vibrant com­mu­ni­ty. Do you have a project or theme that fits our annu­al theme? Can you get an audi­ence excit­ed about your cause in 10 min­utes? Then apply now and become part of Munich Design Week 2025.

What we need from you:

• Title of your presentation
• Short bio­graph­i­cal infor­ma­tion, also in tab­u­lar form
• Abstract of your pre­sen­ta­tion (min. 500 to max. 1,000 characters)
• All by Jan­u­ary 6, 2025 to contact@mcbw.de

What else is important:

• The top­ic of the pre­sen­ta­tion must be relat­ed to our annu­al theme or one of its sub-themes.
• The max­i­mum length of the pre­sen­ta­tion is 10 minuts.
• We are unable to cov­er trav­el and accom­mo­da­tion costs.
• Please make sure you are avail­able live in Munich on 5/12/2025. The design sum­mit is an in-per­son event, we can­not con­nect you as a hybrid.
• Sales pitch­es are not allowed.
